Q: How did you learn astrology?
A: I took formal astrology courses online with the Debra Silverman School of Applied Astrology. I have also taken numerous classes offered by Rick Lavine through Astrology Hub, as well as many other amazing astrologers in the field of traditional astrology and modern depth psychology, including classes offered by the London School of Astrology. I continually read and study astrology in different formats.
Q: What house system do you use?
Q: What is Natal Astrology?
A: Natal Astrology is a system of astrology where the birth chart is used to describe and understand personality traits, characteristics, soul purpose, and timing of life events that have already occurred. The birth chart is generated with the individual's place, date, and exact time of birth.
Q: Do you practice predictive astrology?
A: No, I do not do predictive astrology. The birth chart does not dictate specific events that will occur in the future. It is a map of potential, and we also have to consider the free will of the individual. Some practiced astrologers can make quasi-accurate predictions based on the energies of your chart and using ancient timing techniques, but I am not one of those astrologers!
Q: What can I expect in a reading from you?
A: In a reading from me, you can expect compassion, empathy and understanding. I will interpret your birth chart and discuss your planetary placements, aspects and houses, and how those influence your life, personality, and soul's mission. Q: What is a crystal practitioner?
A: I use Placidus houses, primarily because that is how I was originally taught. I have tried out Whole Sign houses and personally feel that there is more nuance and accuracy with Placidus. I believe that all house systems have validity and are useful in different scenarios. Astrology is a language that one could keep learning for their entire lifetime!
A: A crystal practitioner is someone who was called to further understand how stones work for healing and optimizing health and has trained to work with crystals for personal healing, as well as helping others. I am a Certified Crystal Healer (CCH) and Advanced Crystal Practitioner (ACP). My certifications are internationally accredited by The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM). I took my courses through the Love and Light School of Crystal Therapy and am passionate about utilizing crystals as a healing modality.
